Been with a lot of companies. I’m not sure if State Farm is the best or not. What I do know is if the people they have working for them are at all like Christina ; customers will definitely pay more for the service she provides alone, even if cost is different. "Tracy Prentiss is the most HONEST agent around. I recently had a horrible, self serving agent who moved my home from Farmers (for his own benefit as they cut his commission) to Safeco (a substandard company that provided him more of a commission) for much more money. Without notice, Safeco increased the premium so much it affected my mortgage payments, causing escrow shortages that I had no knowledge until the annual escrow shortage notice was mailed out- 7 months after the exorbitant payment was issued. I immediately called Tracy with Statefarm- one of the Best insurance companies around and guess what? My home owners insurance payment is HALF of Safeco, AND, my auto insurance payment also dropped - I was with Progressive for the last >20 years- so much for loyalty…Progressive and my previous agent failed me. I am now with Statefarm and Tracy and my payments are so much lower. Don’t be like me and stay with or trust your agent- call Tracy and see if you are paying what you should. Thank me later."
